Vice Advice - May 2010

Ola my Fellow Tablers. . .

So. . .  I find myself wondering what you all been up to lately. Well, from my side I’ve been quite busy the last two or three weeks having worked at Splashy Fenn with the Sani 152 & Berea 189 members. And what an experience it always proves to be. As I mentioned before, heaps of fun and barrels of laughs.

Having attended my 4th ARTSA now, as always, it  was an awesome one for me with one of the best road trips I’ve ever been on. To my Road Trip Crew. . .  Thanks a mill for the endless laughs and the good fellowship endured on our 14, 15 or 16 hour drive down. To Hartenbos. To the drivers, thanks for getting us there and back in one piece. Hats off to you all. For those of you that have never attended an ARTSA, it is certainly a must in your Table careers. An experience that should not be missed. For those that attended their first ARTSA, well done and welcome to the club. They get better every time as you meet more and more fellow Tablers from across the country, who become friends that you look forward to seeing the following year.

With my first official raid to Kloof 190 done and dusted, I can only hope that all raids this year are as well supported and attended as this one was. Well done and let’s keep it up!

Speaking of raiding, please don’t forget to submit your raiding forms to me so I can keep track of your activities in and out of our Area. Currently, Wandsbeck 187 are the only ones who are submitting as they raid. This is definitely the way to go! However, if you wait and submit at the end of the year, you are bound to forget one or two or battle to get them signed by the Table you raided. But, it’s up to you.

Talking about Table activities, those who fancy themselves photographers, submit your pics and one liners to our SCAN editor Henri Munnik so he can compile a top class first edition of SCAN. He can’t do it without your input so keep that in mind. The cut off for submissions is the 11th June so get your Table in there. Also, send your pics through to our Area Web Master Yari for the Area Snapshots on our NSCA website. A new feature which I enjoy browsing through.

The Website is there to help us and contains a lot of useful information. This is a powerful Table tool and not using it is just a waste. So visit our site and make use of it to its fullest.

I am looking forward to visiting you all in your clubhouse in the next few months for a good meeting and great fellowship. Speaking of fellowship, please remember about the Area Party which André has planned. He has opened up his home to all and made an effort to get us all together for a social, so let’s make the effort to attend in good numbers and make it an evening to remember.

Well. . .  I think I’ve waffled on long enough so till next we meet, keep well and continue Tabling.
